Single Sign-On (SSO) overview

Hoxhunt supports several options for user authentication, whether you want to use one-time password authentication (Magic links) or set up different Identity Providers to each of your domains.

Supported SSO providers

Hoxhunt supports certain SSO providers out of the box, but it's possible to set up Hoxhunt SSO with virtually any SAML 2.0 -compatible Identity Provider.

  • Microsoft Entra ID
  • Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS)
  • Google Workspace
  • Okta
  • Ping Identity
  • OneLogin

For step-by-step instructions for each Identity Provider on the list, please see the individual articles in this section.

Are you using another SSO provider?

Even if your preferred Identity Provider (IdP) isn't on the list, you should in most cases be able to set up Single Sign-On for Hoxhunt. If needed, please contact Hoxhunt Support for additional guidance.

Are you using different SSO Providers for your domains?

Hoxhunt allows your to set up distinct SSO providers for each email domain you have. For example, if domain-a.com in Tenant A uses Entra SSO, and domain-b.com uses OneLogin SSO, you can configure Hoxhunt to have separate SSO setups for the domains.
