When automated user federation with SCIM has been enabled for your organization and users are automatically created in Hoxhunt, there are two options to activate the new users in Hoxhunt.
You can read more about automated user federation from the articles below:
Option 1:
-
Integrate Hoxhunt training as part of your new employee HR processes
-
Ask new employees to start the Hoxhunt training by pressing the Hoxhunt button
This ensures that each new employee hears about Hoxhunt training and its importance during their first days and are encouraged to start the training without delay by pressing the Hoxhunt button.
Additionally, single invitations can be sent out to users manually in the admin actions section (New Admin User actions available), and irregular invitation rounds can be agreed upon with your dedicated Customer Success Manager.
Option 2:
-
Agree on invitation dates (e.g. monthly, quarterly) with your dedicated Customer Success Manager
-
Hoxhunt will share a list of newly added users
-
Communicate to new users about Hoxhunt (Communication templates)
-
Options on sending invites to users:
-
Use the “Invite user” button for manual user invites in the admin actions (New Admin User actions available)
-
Hoxhunt sends invites to new users on an agreed date
-
Removing users from Hoxhunt:
User can be removed Hoxunt by removing the user from the Hoxhunt SCIM enterprise application in Azure AD. After user is removed from the enterprise application, Hoxhunt will flag the user as soft deleted and will delete user's data after 90 days have passed. If the user is re-activated before the 90 days have passed, the timer will be removed and the user will not be in scope for soft deletion anymore.
Removing users via admin actions should not be done if the user is assigned to the Hoxhunt SCIM enterprise application because the user will be automatically re-created in Hoxhunt during the next provisioning cycle.
